1) Ordinary looks, seemingly amateurish presentation, low profile

It is a deliberate policy to keep a low profile, to distinguish NRInatter.com from high-profile, high-decibel, low-results "activist" groups. Instead, we prefer to keep a low profile for top results. Again, the non-glamorous website is designed to highlight that "substance is more important than style". In this world, you will find lots of 'professional', high-tech, dazzling and attractive websites and apps. And, in your heart of hearts, you know most of them deliver less than they promise. NRInatter.com endeavors to challenge your mind and help it to overcome its slavery to market tricks and realize that high-profile, high noise and superficial attractiveness are not necessarily effective nor better. Even the name of our website appears harmless. :)

Our focus is on two very important aspects of our lives that have become big problems: 1) Short attention span; 2) Blunting or dulling of intellect or discerning intelligence (a mental faculty that's higher than the mind).

Through our deliberately long-form of discourse on this website, we present an opportunity for ordinary people to read, understand and digest complex issues that impact their lives in this digital/AI era of our globalized world. Our content is an antidote to inane, short-form content (like tweets, shorts, short videos, snippets, snapshots, etc) that pervades our ecosystem.

The ecosystem in which we live proactively conspires to disable our intellect and collective consciousness. We strive proactively to foil that attempt by the elites. Our relentless efforts are geared to re-activate and sharpen your intellect so you could gain not only a dispassionate, objective overview of our world and its systems, institutions, processes that control and manipulate our lives but also the ability to penetrate issues with X-ray-like vision to get to their bottom and grasp subtle, unsaid or implied aspects, and read between the lines. You could say we help sharpen intellects, awaken conscience and stoke collective consciousness.

2) Remedy for short attention span

To reiterate, not many among ordinary people realize that both mainstream news media and new-age social media are geared to zombify the "masses", a term that now includes the so-called middle class. Twitter/X glorified brevity with its 140-character credo. But it is a subversion of the age-old aphorisms in sacred texts. Whereas aphorisms are like zip files that can be decompressed to unspool tomes of meaning and insights, today's media content comes in the form of byte-sized morsels that zombify you. Make no mistake, elites are continuing to buy and read big, expensive books, and expanding their ken. But they encourage ordinary people to consume nano-sized content bereft of meaning and substance -- an intellectual zombification process (or emasculation, if you will). So far, this nefarious strategy has been effective. Younger generations have lost touch with profound, deep content and long-form writing. Hence, they suffer from short attention spans. Their brains' bandwidth has been squeezed and compressed. NRInatter.com endeavours to reverse this trend. Its content is deliberately long-form, to encourage you to rediscover your powers and abilities like observation, concentration, reflection and introspection. Think. Ponder. 3) Gross and subtle

Ordinary people have lost the ability to distinguish the gross from the subtle. They have forgotten how to read between the lines and grasp what is unsaid or implied. They have no idea how to act as per the context of a situation and how to discern the nuances therein. NRInatter.com's content is designed to help you to reactivate your inner X-ray vision combined with a detached overview of the Big Picture. You will realize this wonderful gift once you read and digest our content inside out.

A mind habitually fed for decades on inane, addictive or low-grade online "content", 140-character super-short "tweets" and "byte-sized" morsels of meaningless trash ... such a mind would likely have lost not only its capacity to wrap itself around profound or in-depth text, but also its ability to develop a detached overview (or helicopter view) of any issue or subject. In addition, it would have lost its ability to X-ray (or penetrate the superficial layers) in order to discern the underlying subtle aspects or nuances and be able to reconcile seeming contradictions.

These mental abilities are essential to understand or grasp the unique context of any situation, condition or circumstance. And acting as per the unique context of any situation is a critical, even essential, skill for attaining success. When Arjun finally grasped the unique context of the Kurukshetra holocaust and decided to "stand up and act/fight", he did so by shaking off the debilitating gravity of ifs, buts, doubts and double-binds. Thus, he emerged successful, helping the Pandavas prevail over the Kauravas.

The "ecosystem" we live in today, which has been carefully created and is skillfully operated by the elites, is geared to disable this context-discerning skill in non-elites (ordinary people or the "masses", a term that, to reiterate, now encompasses even the so-called educated middle class). Without this intellectual skill, humans virtually become zombies -- wakeful but not conscious.

NRInatter.com endeavors to re-arm ordinary people with a resurrected, functioning and sharper intellect. Any seeming or perceived contradictions you might find in our discourse on this website have been deliberately introduced to give you opportunities to reconcile them, which requires diligent use of the intellect. Such perceived contradictions are not real but seeming. You need to exercise your intellectual muscle to realize that a perceived contradiction merely presents the other side of the same coin, which is often ignored. For an objective, dispassionate overview of anything, it is essential to look at, and understand, both sides of the coin, so to speak.

For instance, at one place, we might denounce materialism and pursuit of Mammon; at another place, we might encourage you to become rich, wealthy and strong. How can both these be true at the same time? But they are -- they are as true as the two sides of the same coin. It all boils down to the context. Pursuing prosperity for the sake of prosperity is wrong and sub-human. Pursuing prosperity to do the right thing and to weaken evil-dark forces within and without is right. Now, is there a contradiction?

Similarly, we might lambaste the middle class for being weak, selfish, self-centric, greedy, fearful, indifferent, apathetic or non-committal at one place while urging them elsewhere to realize their intrinsic collective power to drive BIG change. Again, no contradiction.

4) IP-related

NRInatter.com spells out its entire vision, mission, goals, including its project details and how the project, once executed, will radically transform not only India but also potentially the entire world. Ours is a project that could potentially make you very very rich and very, very powerful. But it will also implore you to become very, very responsible, sensible and accountable. Given the implications, it is our duty to protect this highly prized "intellectual property" (IP). Hence, the presentation style is analogous to ore and precious metals/gems. If you focus on only the superficial, you will likely end up noticing only the ore. But, if you allow our content to reactivate your inner faculties like X-ray vision combined with detached or helicopter overview of the Big Picture, you will discern the ore contains precious metals hidden to the plain eye.

Don't expect us to give you all the critical information on our transformative and transformational project at one go, in one place, on a platter. 5) Lime juice principle for detox effect

Our minds have become toxic and our intellects have been blunted by gluttonous consumption of bad 'food' (content in the public domain). It's like feeding the mind continuously only with unhealthy pizzas, burgers, samosas, cakes and donuts. Proof of this is the fact that billions of ordinary people go through their lives without actualizing their full potential, torn apart by contradictions in the value systems that had been implanted in their brains (operating system) subliminally, subconscously, by the larger ecosystem. The resultant insensitivity to context and nuance make them think and act like zombies, driven by absolutist, primitive values. NRInatter.com endeavours to put an end to this malady. 7) Anti-individualism, pro cooperation and collaboration

Believe it or not, the world's elites have nicely united as one solid force. In absolute numbers, they constitute a tiny, nano-sized fragment of total population. But they nevertheless control 99 percent of global wealth, power and authority. The world's elites -- politicians, policymakers, regulators, bureaucrats, royals, business-people, capitalists, top corporate executives, academia, celebrities/icons from the entertainment, sports, arts and cultural industries, the religious mafia, strongmen, techno-feudals, militia heads, tribal warlords, landowners ... -- have overcome their egos and united as one unit, transcending geographical, racial, religious, cultural and other differences like political affiliations and ideologies (ever heard of secret societies?).

Stated differently, all you see on the surface in the public domain is almost invariably staged, orchestrated, choreographed for make-believe, to deceive, hoodwink, mislead and fool you (the Common Man/Woman). An example here would help illustrate the point. The entire political class is one basically. What we ordinary people, however, get to see on the surface is a multitude of political parties and their projected divisions in the form of the ruling party/coalition versus the opposition. Behind the scenes, however, they are all one, cutting deals all the time for mutual benefit, at the expense of people. The game is simple: it's the Elites versus the Non-Elites.

And Indian elites are now part of the global clique. The selfsame elites are also adept at 'divide-and-rule'. By promoting fake feminism, crass consumerism and hyper-individualism (irrational ego, megalomania, narcissism, inflated sense of self-importance) among ordinary people, the elites have sought to ensure the latter (non-elites) do not unite as one global force and present a viable and invincible opposition to them. But history proves that humankind have evolved to modern times through cooperation and collaboration alone, not by indulging their egos or by investing in false pride.

NRInatter.com champions this cause. All is not lost. We the ordinary people may all be on the cliff edge, but we can still take a U-turn and rewrite history by casting aside our egos and our contempt for peers, and by forging unity among ourselves for cooperation and collaboration. Else, we can kiss our future goodbye. For, the techno-feudals through their digital-age AIs, the authoritarian regimes through their oppressive measures, and the high-tech, biotech crowd through their designer viruses and manufactured pandemics will make us extinct sooner than we could imagine. Beware!

Gurus and suckers

Why do ordinary people fall prey to various types of gurus in the first place?

Not all of the audience members (suckers -- followers of gurus) are seekers of truth, knowledge or salvation/liberation. It is reasonable to assume that most of the audience members tend to be a curious lot, driven by tradition, religion they were born into, current trend, peer pressure or word of mouth.

But, mostly, audience members consist of people suffering from life's vicissitudes, and in pain, needing a way out, some relief, a soothing balm for their troubled minds; they, beset with mental fog, might be in search of much-needed but elusive clarity; they need a roadmap to travel from the dark tunnel of the present to light at the end of that tunnel, so to speak.

Some others may be reeling from pricks of their own conscience, a sense of guilt, for some perceived indiscretion or unwise action (like acceptance of a bribe, betrayal, broken promise, unseemly physical violence, wrong accusations or allegations, lies, half-truths, sexual misconduct, consumption of liquor, tobacco or narcotics, violation of their own self-set code, values or norms, and so forth).

[Quick note: The generic term "guru" includes celebrity authors of popular self-help DIY books (who go on book promotion tours, speaking tours, hold seminars, address events, deliver keynotes, and give numerous media interviews), so-called motivational speakers, and the new tribe of parasite-vampire-charlatans on YouTube, TikTok and social media platforms who, in their online advertisements, first call you incomplete, inadequate, flawed or ignorant in this aspect or that area and then urge you to register and join their free multi-hour "webinar", workshop, "masterclass" or "boot camp" first, to be followed by clever tricks to get you to buy expensive subscriptions for their online courses.

It's easy to recognize them. Their videos suddenly pop up on your device screen, catching you unawares, off-guard; they appear in between, before or midway through songs, video clips and other content; and they start bombarding you with their sales and marketing spiel / shi* in the manner of AK47 machine guns, in just a few seconds. In a rather obscenely presumptuous and ridiculously deliberate, wilful and inelegant manner, they straightaway tell you that you are flawed, defective, deficient, incomplete, inadequate, unsuccessful, wrong, a failure, in this, that or the other. Then they go on to offer unsolicited solutions to problems imagined and defined by them and thrust upon or ascribed/attributed to you. If you are insane enough to respond to such rude spiel by clicking a link, scanning a QR code or calling a hotline, you will have taken the first step toward hell, ruin and self-destruction. Sometimes, these gurus could be so young you wonder at their life choice to trick and con others as a means of livelihood and popularity.]

THE PSYCHOLOGY OF SUCKERS

Troubled people, who had so far lived a wakeful but unconscious life, search for understanding. Typically, such troubled people don't realize the root cause of their troubles: some unrecognized vacuum or gap or void in their early life, some deprivation -- usually of good/enlightened parenting, unconditional love, good guidance, proper nurture, a sense of stability and security.

Without being aware at a conscious level, they are led by their subconscious mind to look for surrogates who could act as substitutes for the people who failed in their roles (father, mother, older siblings, relatives, teachers, etc). They have this unfulfilled craving for heroes, superheroes, saints, elevated souls, etc. The gurus instinctively sense and understand this psychological need of their prey. They pretend and act as if they are, indeed, the wise elders, heroes, superheroes, iconic figures, saints, elevated beings or god-realized divine souls. Given the inner cravings of their prey, it does not take much effort to convince the suckers.

Typically, these 'smart' gurus find it effective to diminish, undermine, make fun of, ridicule or belittle the trials, tribulations and struggles of their audiences. They use sarcasm, criticism and juxtaposition as tools to castigate the choices, preferences, decisions, thinking processes and motivations of their audiences. They literally convert their elevated position on the dais/stage/pedestal as moral high-ground from which they talk down to their audiences. They ascribe value and purity to their assumed "spiritual" realm, and devalue and downgrade their audiences for inhabiting the "material" realm, drawing a contrast between the two.

Usually, in addition to the general curiosity about or fascination with scriptures, mythology or latest sci-tech discoveries (including psychology, mind, consciousness and the human brain that the gurus cite ad nauseam), the following five considerations or questions drive the suckers' quest when they fall into The Guru Trap:

1) What went wrong in life? Why did I fall into a ditch or was left in the lurch? What was my mistake? What did I do wrong? What could I have done differently or better? How to act differently now and in the future? Well such are the surface-level questions for which they wish to find answers.

2) But, at a deeper level, what they really wish to know is how they were outsmarted (or played, manipulated, exploited, abused, psyched out, deceived, defrauded, betrayed or pimped away) by the baddies in their life, the villains, life's circumstances, certain situations or upheavals. What are the various contributory factors? How to deal with the baddies, the detractors, the enemies, the saboteurs, and life's situations? And how to get justice, get even, settle scores? How to outsmart the baddies?

3) Since the suckers/victims were and are wakeful but not really 100% conscious due to the vice-like grip of the all-encompassing ecosystem (that is, the sum total of political, religious, socioeconomic, cultural, societal, psychological, media, tech and other influences that govern and command their mind), they seek to know themselves better, inside out, in terms of their emotions, reactions, reflexes, choices, preferences, etc.

4) The suckers/victims would like to get an objective overview of the entire ecosystem, the game being played, and the rules thereof.

5) Lastly, the suckers/victims would like to know: how to recover, and how to thrive, prosper and shine in the material realm??

Enter gurus. The gurus offer diagnosis and promise solutions to all of those problems/questions and then some. They mesmerise as well as dumb down. What actually happens usually is that the gurus deliberately misinterpret, misdiagnose, wrongly portray and generalize people's problems. They even conjure non-existent problems out of thin air and attribute them to their prey. The gurus superimpose a subjective notion or theory on objective reality, and trick their unsuspecting, naive prey to see/perceive only the superimposition and accept it as the whole truth.

These predators in various disguises cast a spell on their prey. The prey get sidetracked, hijacked or intellectually kidnapped. They lose the plot. They digress from those five questions. They fall into a ditch all over again because all the old factors, the negative comfort zone of the known and the familiar, now at work in a subtle and sly way, ensure that. That is, if the old unrecognized 'enemy' was an elder (say, a parent, sibling or teacher), the present enemy, the guru, mentally corresponding to the old enemy, creates a comfort zone in the mind because the subconscious mind interprets this person as "known" or "familiar" in a context-blind, nuance-blind, absolutist way. That's the folly of the human brain/mind, rather of the faulty inner algorithms at work.

Stated differently, the prey don't realize this in real time because the sheer fact that someone is exploiting, misleading, abusing or betraying their trust is interpreted by the human brain as a familiar story -- hence the comfort zone, even if it is negative, damaging and self-destructive.

Instead of finding direct answers to the questions troubling their minds, the victims allow themselves to be (mis)led into various kinds of theories, doctrines, ideologies, belief systems, myths, mystic elements and philosophies. All of them cast a seductive spell. Wrong cause-effect deductions are offered as explanations for the plight of victims. Once they are accepted by the unsuspecting mind, making the same mind accept the wrong solutions for the misdiagnosed problems is an easy next step.

This is true of all the five questions. For example, in response to question number 5, the gurus don't teach or train their sucker-like followers/devotees how to thrive, although they pretend to be doing just that. Look around. Have you ever seen a guru-following sucker really shine? Unless the follower is part of the guru's inner circle/clique or a confidant, he/she can't and won't shine.

What the suckers get in response to each of the five questions above are misinterpretations, wrong portrayals, topsy-turvy tricks, subjective instead of objective visions/prisms, word-salads, cock-and-bull stories, hocus-pocus, myths, pseudo science, mind-pleasing fantasies.

Some elaboration might help here.

Typical guru 'wisdom' that is dispensed as answers to the five questions:

1) What went wrong in life? Why did I fall into a ditch or was left in the lurch? What was my mistake? What did I do wrong? What could I have done differently or better? How to act differently now and in the future? Well such are the surface-level questions for which they wish to find answers.

HIGHLY GENERALIZED ANSWER: Your past/past-life karma is to blame. You are a flawed individual. You are a sinner. The only way out is to follow/implement our prescription.

2) How was I outsmarted (or played, manipulated, exploited, abused, psyched out, deceived, defrauded, betrayed or pimped away) by the baddies or the villains in my life? What are the various contributory factors? How to deal with the baddies, the detractors, the enemies, the saboteurs, life's situations? And how to get justice, get even, settle scores? How to outsmart the baddies?

HIGHLY GENERALIZED ANSWER: You are a dumbo, an idiot. You are ignorant. You are not smart. You are paying the price now for your past karmas. Exhaust your karma. But you can't allow yourself to become evil like those villains. If you pursue vengeance or revenge, you will end up becoming like them. You need to evolve. You must have compassion toward the villains. Cultivate equanimity. Treat success and failure as same. Life goes in cycles/circles. Just perform action, do not expect positive outcomes. Outgrow cravings and aversions. Learn to accept even negative outcomes. If you get crucified, know you will be resurrected/reincarnated. Don't despair. Better things await you in heaven. If you disregard this teaching, you'll go to hell. So, concentrate your mind on the guru, who is like God. "Just do it" -- follow the guru's teaching A-Z.

The guru does not preach the Gita's essence: Arjun, led by Lord Krishna, kills off the evil-doers in the end. Arjun does not get swayed by context-blind, nuance-blind notions of compassion, love, filial ties, etc. Most suckers, suffering a victim mindset, would like to identify with Arjun and get justice by bringing the culprits to justice. But they know not how to do that. They think association with gurus will help them, little realizing that the latter are wolves in sheep's clothing -- like evil cops who rape a rape-victim all over again in the police station after the victim goes there to lodge a complaint and seeks justice, little realizing the cops are not the people who will deliver justice.

3) I'd like to know myself better, inside out, in terms of emotions, reactions, reflexes, choices, preferences, etc.

HIGHLY GENERALIZED ANSWER: Practice meditation, breathing technique, this, that or the other. Consume this and not that. Do this and not that. Neurochemistry research says this. Psychology research says that. Brain research says this. Mind-body research says that. Scriptures say this. Awarding-winning book says that.

4) I would like to get an objective overview of the entire ecosystem, the game being played, and the rules thereof.

HIGHLY GENERALIZED ANSWER: View the ecosystem through the (subjective) lens (or prism) we have installed in front of your mind, and from a bottom-up perspective. Objective overview is not for you. You are not yet ready for the whole truth. Do not recognize the prism we installed in front your messed-up mind. Do not remove it. Do not try any other lens/prism either. Only then you might understand everything.

5) Lastly, I'd like to know: how to recover, and how to thrive and prosper and shine in the material realm??

HIGHLY GENERALIZED ANSWER: Give up material pursuits. You are a divine soul. Your destination is God (or re-merger with God). Live frugally. The material realm is transient, ephemeral, sinful, bad, unreal, illusory, filthy. Do not covet it. Get rid of mental defilements. Pursue self-improvement, self-realization, refinement of soul, liberation, moksha, nirvana. Aim for God's kingdom so that you won't return to this filthy material realm ever again. Until then, offer prayers. Love God. Surrender. Go with the flow. Do not resist. Evolve a strict regimen. Practise moderation in sense gratifications. Don't give too much weight to material-realm goals like prosperity, success in career and life, financial wealth, good health. All such pursuits are impediments to your spiritual evolution.

At the end of it all, the defrauded victims, abused/exploited yet again, are left in the lurch, or kill themselves, or, become mad/insane/wayward, or become addicts of this, that or the other, and if they somehow manage to survive the ordeal, return to the original questions for the right answers.

By then, a lot of time will have been lost/wasted, perpetuating a flawed larger ecosystem meantime. And the gurus, part of the elites who have a vested interest in perpetuating the flawed ecosystem, will go laughing all the way to the bank.

And the victims, who could have been potential agents of real change, Big Change, are blunted thoroughly, and can no longer pose a threat to the flawed system; they can't hold the gurus accountable and responsible either for their (victims') compounded misery.

Even if you pin them down, the gurus will blame you only in turn, saying you misunderstood their preaching and wrongly implemented their prescriptions. And there is no written contract to enforce. It's all a mind-game.

Perform this thought experiment and ask yourself what might be the outcome of such an experiment.

Would these saints and gurus accept the following challenge/conditions? They should give their sermons, talks, lectures, speeches, preaching, teachings or discourses without sporting any distinctive robes/clothing; that is, they should wear normal clothing like that of their audiences. Furthermore, they should NOT sport any distinctive marks on their body like that of vermilion, sacred ash, sandalwood paste, turmeric, etc; they should NOT sport any unusual hairstyle and beard and other bodily hair; they should NOT wear any irregular footwear; they should NOT use any other-worldly tongue/language; they should NOT digress from the stated topic of the talk but stay focused on it, without any repetition or duplication, either directly or indirectly, of same points over and over again to lengthen the duration of the talk; they should sit/stand at the same level as that of their audiences at the venue while delivering their talk/discourse; they should NOT make any hissing sounds nor physical gestures or gesticulations (especially with their heads, eyes, voice modulations, hands) to accentuate the content of their talks or create/impart additional subjective edge.

Another challenge/condition would be that the gurus should agree to be held accountable and responsible for their talks' content and be approachable for Q&A with their audiences without any time limit.

It's a shame that these digital-age (fake) gurus consume hours at a stretch for a single talk, during which they digress, take detours, beat about the bush, repeat points, duplicate stuff, wax eloquent on this, that and the other, take their own sweet time to drive home a point, but when it comes to Q&A, they insist the audience members should ensure their questions are brief, to-the-point, direct and not be comments, statements, arguments or criticisms. What we mean by accountability is that when a guru preaches a certain value system, principle, doctrine or ideology, and a follower/devotee accepts and implements it in real life, and consequently suffers a great deal, would the guru compensate the devotee/follower and hold himself/herself accountable?

This thought experiment (rather twin thought experiments), and outcomes thereof, should suffice to enlighten the sucker-like audiences about the perils of blindly following and idolizing digital-age gurus. Exit elites, enter non-elites

There are four main or strong reasons that warrant putting an end to the elites' grip on human ecosystems / societies.

1. Ordinary people (non-elites) no longer need what the elites have / want to offer

We, the majority non-elites or ordinary people, don't need the kind of services (including systems of governance), products, commodities, technologies and content that the elites force upon us by tricking us. We can live without the dangerous offerings that the elites ram down our throats by convincing us that their offerings are essential for our survival and prosperity.

2. Elites cannot / don't want to offer what non-elites need

We, the majority non-elites or ordinary people, can manage our own affairs and make do with whatever we can make, produce and distribute on our own, using our own resources as well as the lessons/wisdom in our experiences and history so far. We don't need experts, specialists and super-specialists because at the end of the day, today, in the second quarter of 21st-century, they don't really make any net-net positive difference to our lives, in spite of all the hype and make-believe narratives.

3. Elites' dreadful past record does not warrant giving them an extension in power

The elites' record in terms of serving the non-elites has been dismal throughout human history. They profess one thing but deliver exactly the opposite. Example: "democracy", "liberty", "freedom", "human rights", "dignity of labor", "equality", etc, are touted as lofty principles worth dying for. But all such grand concepts are subverted, inverted and made a mockery of in real life. What we see all around us today are elites-led authoritarian regimes, digital dystopias, techno-feudalism, anachronistic theocracies, shameful socialist societies, fake Communist states, dreadful democracies, macabre militias, terrible tribalistic regimes, daft dictatorships, outdated monarchies, so forth. Similarly, the elites' record in endangering the planet itself through a flawed, evil, unsustainable and untenable capitalism model warrants putting an end to their power over people and planet. Just one look at the wealth disparity data would suffice to discern this fact. Just 56,000 people control enormous wealth.

4. Elites now pose an existential threat to non-elites

The elites are up to no good, if their recent record is any indication. Look at the wealth disparities. Less than 1% (in fact, a minuscule fraction) of human population control 99% of current global wealth. Ditto for power, capital, technologies and content. This has created enormous socioeconomic discontents and skewed human ecosystems. Now, the elites are capable of wiping out or exterminating non-elites. All things in the current scenario seem to suggest the elites are, in fact, heading in that direction and will likely succeed; they wouldn't consider introspection, reflection and course-correction (taking a U-turn), if they are not confronted and countered urgently.

Whither democracy?

January-October 2026: Nepal, Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan surely pack some important lessons for India, but do Ukraine, Gaza and Venezuela also hold similar lessons for Bharat? You bet! All these countries show that if people relegate themselves to the background and "mind their own business" (that is, live only for personal, selfish interests and reduce community, society and ecosystem to mere means to fulfill, satisfy or meet such interests), and outsource governance to, or allow power to be grabbed by, populist figures, strongmen or extremists, then they (the ordinary people) will have hell to pay sooner or later.

Even otherwise, if ordinary people do not step up to the plate of 21st-century reality, and prefer to stay cocooned in their comfort zone of passive citizenship that characterized 20th century, they will have hell to pay sooner or later. So, dear fellow ordinary citizens, wake up at least now. Realize that the level of the unethical dimension in polity, business, governance, sci-tech, news media, entertainment, religion, spirituality, etc, has risen sharply in the last 30-40 years. Fields like marketing, advertising, psychology, psychotherapy, and even general sciences, have been weaponized against common people, zombifying and disempowering the latter to an unprecedented degree.

To check or contain that runaway rise, ordinary citizens need to first recognize this global-scale conspiracy of the elites (netas, babus, lalas, techno-feudals, sci-tech devils, celebrities, influencers, et al). And then coalesce into a crack force to confront and combat this evil. For that to happen, ordinary people need to have a powerful voice that counts. But the reality today is that ordinary people have lost their voice, their say, both individually and collectively.

Be it in the role of voter, citizen, taxpayer, employee, consumer of products/brands and services (government is also a service, mind you), tech user, content-consumer, devotee or follower, an ordinary person no longer has any voice or say in anything at all. Sadly, it's not just the elites who are to blame. Ordinary people are no less culpable. By that, we don't mean just the rural people or tribals, villagers, etc. Even the educated people, including scholars, merchants, traders, professionals, retirees, workers ... the ordinary people in urban areas are no less culpable.

India claims to be world's largest democracy. Look at Bihar. The Dec 2025 state election outcome betrays ordinary voters' unholy preferences. Look at Karnataka. Even urban, literate people vote on the basis of caste, as per the partisan, irrational, sectarian diktats of so-called "seers". Look at Maharashtra. Marathas remain fixated on imagined regional pride while the real wealth is made in Mumbai by Gujjus, Parsees and Sindhis, real power is commanded by the underworld, while wealthy Marathas enrich and empower themselves through sugar and tobacco trade, even as ordinary Maharashtrians draw false pride from local cricketers' rise (and farmers committ suicides or sell body organs or undergo forced sterilization for survival money). Look at Delhi. People opportunistically, shamelessly vote for one party MLAs while empowering opposition party's MPs at the same time, neutralizing each side with the other, and ushering in statis and backsliding. In the South, even IT professionals get carried away by the mesmerisizing influences of film stars, and elect them as their leaders (like the people of Ukraine did with Zelensky).

Sachin Tendulkar and Hema Malini are/have been lawmakers, like so many other celebrities, influencers and icons. Why do we confuse lawmaking expertise with celebrityhood? Do we even need politicians, Parliament and Assembly anymore in this day and age? If lawmaking is their principal business, should not that be done by relevant experts? Why do politicians deserve unchecked, unlimited, absolute power? In terms of record and achievements, what do they have to show for, to justify their (non) performance in the last 75 years?

Unless this pattern is reversed, ordinary people will be subjected to even more atrocities, indifference, unresponsiveness, manipulation, abuse, disservice, etc, by governments, businesses, Big Tech, content publishers, gurus, evangelists, employers, so on. Ask yourself: when was the last time your voice counted or you had a significant and decisive say in something important done at the institutional level that affected your life and/or your loved ones in a very personal way? The answer most probably would be "never" or "can't remember". Right? But it does not have to be that way. Nor should we ordinary people ever face lockdowns, quarantines, vaccines, absolute controls, etc, in mass hysteria while those holding PM or similar top positions celebrate birthday parties, etc, on office lawns with impunity at the same time.

Real-life benign dystopia that envelopes us now is worse than cinematic fictions about post-apocalyptic scenarios. Shame we are yet to realize this.

Consider this fact: On every single transaction for a product or service (including tech and content), we ordinary citizens pay tax(es). Once in five years (or whenever elections are held), we cast our vote, if at all. Thus we outsource governance and administration, and funnel away all our power (and even responsibility and obligation to be active, vigilant citizens) to minority elites (lawmakers, and people like bureaucrats, policymakers, planners, regulators, law enforcers, etc, who administer various institutions and agencies).

The ordinary citizen does not really understand how much money flows from people into government coffers via taxes, and how much of that government revenue is spent, and how, when, where, to what purpose, although the annual budget is supposed to make this crystal clear to the last rupee. The ordinary citizen has no hands-on role nor oversight on governance, administration, policymaking, etc; she/he is not consulted on a regular basis on critical policies (ex: demonetization) that could savage his/her life.

A mandate via elections (that are neither fair or free but rigged or manipulated using unethical psychological tricks or 'bought' outright by splurging cash, or are manipulated by election authorities) becomes a carte blanche for the government and the lawmakers (MLAs, MPs and their equivalents at various levels).

Now, at the ordinary citizen level, this flawed model of the lofty concept/theory of democracy and this corrupted system of governance are not working -- they are not delivering the promised and expected results. Instead, we, the ordinary people, reel from polluted air, poisoned water, adulterated or compromised food, corrupted pharma, potholed roads, erratic power supply, inflation, bad governance, scams, frauds, crimes, disasters, inefficiency, incompetence, mediocrity, abuse of power, corruption, extra-constitutional actions, nepotism, dynasties, lack of transparency and accountability . . .

Since becoming a sovereign republic in 1950, we have gathered 75 years of experience, knowledge and technologies. Using all of them, should not we, the ordinary people, crunch data, review India's record so far, and ponder better alternatives?

Where's the wisdom in dumbly carrying on in a "business as usual" manner? What's the point in meekly complying with a failed, flawed utter-flop system? Where's the beauty if there's no difference between "Ramgarh-walon" and us, the 21st-century citizens? (Flashback: In the epic movie Sholay, the dumb, meek, spineless, conformist weakling residents of a fictional village Ramgarh either indulge in Holi revelry and live like robots or expect outsiders like Viru and Jai to team up with guardian Thakur to fight for them against the evil outlaw, bandit/dacoit Gabbar.)

Wake up -- 25 years, or a quarter of 21st century, are already behind us. We are in 2026 now. Except for surface-level or superficial cosmetic changes, nothing substantive and substantial has changed in India's condition and situation. The flawed democratic model and the failed socioeconomic system are the two sides of our society's template coin. We, the ordinary people, need and deserve a different coin, a different currency.

2026 is here, calling us to consider a change in the underlying template itself. Are you ready to rise as an action-oriented change-maker and game-changer? Or, do you want to rot away as a keyboard warrior, a compliant conformist like "Ramgarh-walon" or a compromised citizen who has learnt to either game a flawed system or be indifferent, apathetic, docile?

Do you know just 56,000 people, or 0.001% of 8 billion, control wealth? Their wealth translates to real power and influence. This should explain why strongmen, despots, authoritarians, techno-feudals, multibillionaires are rising on the one hand; and why trillions of dollars are flowing as investments into AI, AGI, LLMs, algos, automation, robotics, hyper-clouds, data centers, new materials, life sciences (including biotech), space pursuits, brain-destroying social media/digital entertainment, and body-compromising GM foods on the other.

Can ordinary people, therefore, assume their present and future are safe and secure? Will the elites create heaven on earth for ordinary folks or for themselves? "Universal basic income", Big Tech, Big Pharma, Big Finance, and promises like "AI will free up humans from drudgery and create quality time to do quality things" . . . do they herald utopia?

Wake up. Make some time to crunch data and figure out what the global trends portend for you at a personal level. Don't dumbly consume and accept popular narratives and rhetoric, which are all sugar-coated lies and poisons. Don't simply assume you and your loved ones are safe and will enjoy a rosy future.

Dystopia is already here, albeit in a benign form. It will turn increasingly nasty and brazen. To stop you from seeing reality as it is, elites have a neat strategy. On the one hand, your life will be made super hectic, tiring due to pursuits of office, career, trade or vocation, against odds like under-development and substandard amenities. On the other, your mind will be saturated with addictive but ultimately useless content (filth packaged as "news", sports, entertainment, gaming, betting, social media, etc).

Even your body will become dependent on addictive or habitual F&B due to the tricks of dirty "market forces". To educate, enlighten and empower yourself, read, watch and listen only the right content. Like that on NriNatter.Com.

9) Tinkering with methodologies used in calculating, determining or computing GDP and other key statistical indicators, and revisionist approach to educational curricula, history, etc;
10) Unconscionable crimes, scams (including stock-market satta-baazi), frauds, intolerance, street violence, disasters, mishaps, tragedies, accidents, pollution, environmental meltdown, bad governance, lousy foreign policy, deterioration of physical/mental health.

What about real development, progress, upgrading of welfare? Ha!
